On-Duty, Uniformed Employees. Uniformed employees shall wear their official Department-issued badge while wearing the uniform.

WHO SHALL WEAR UNIFORM. All employees regardless of rank shall wear the prescribed uniform and personal equipment during their tours of duty.

AIRPORT PASS. Airport Security Officers shall wear the LSIA airside pass, identifying them as airport security officers, shall be green in colour.

BASEBALL CAP. May optionally be worn with Class B/C uniforms. It shall be green in color and display either "POLICE" in black text, or appropriate department insignia.

BEANIE. May optionally be worn during inclement weather. The beanie shall be black in colour.

BELT. Officers shall wear the black basket weave belt with golden buckle.

Note: Officers may also choose to wear the nylon belt with no visible buttons, or the black leather belt with golden buckle.

Belt can't have magazine pouches

CAMPAIGN HAT. May optionally be worn while working in the roadway. 

CYCLE HELMET. Shall be worn by officers assigned to Bicycle Detail. Shall be black in color.

GLOVES. Black leather or knitted gloves may be worn for inclement weather. Nitrile gloves may be worn when providing first aid, or collecting evidence.

Note: White formal gloves may be worn while directing traffic

HIGH VISIBILITY VEST. Officer shall wear a reflective safety vest while working in the roadway.

Note: A reflective safety vest is required when going on patrol.

JACKETS. Officer may choose to wear a issued jacket during inclement weather, or during cold periods of time. It shall be green in color and bear a facsimile badge.

RAIN CLOTHING. Rain clothing shall be worn during such times as officers may be exposed to inclement weather. It shall consist of the following: Hood and; Coat or cape.

SHOULDER / CHEST MIC. Officer may choose to wear a shoulder or chest mic for their radio.

Shall be worn by any security officer attending a formal event.

May be worn by security officers conducting field activities.

SHIRT. Long sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.

PANTS. Standard duty pants, olive green in colour. 

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

May be worn by security officers conducting field activities.

SHIRT. Long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, with open collar. 

PANTS. Standard slack-style pants, OR straight cargo-style pants, olive green in colour. 

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

May be worn by security officers conducting security access control post detail.

SHIRT. Long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, with open collar and an embroidered facsimile badge . 

PANTS. BDU pants, olive green in colour.

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

On-duty personnel must obtain permission from a duty supervisor to be authorised to use the polo uniform.

Note: May be worn when conducting special duties, or special event, without supervisor permission.

SHIRT. Green Polo shirt, must have a facsimile badge and the text "SECURITY" on the front right-breast pocket.

PANTS. BDU Pants, or Shorts, olive green in colour.

FOOTWEAR. Black sneakers.

BELT. Black Basket Weave leather belt, with gold buckle and gold pouch buttons.

Note: Officer may optionally wear the Nylon belt, or a Basket Weave belt with a plastic buckle.
