Wearing of the Badge/Uniform

On-Duty, Uniformed Employees. Uniformed employees shall wear their official Department-issued badge on the outermost garment of their uniform.


WHO SHALL WEAR UNIFORM. All employees regardless of rank shall wear the prescribed uniform and personal equipment during their tours of duty.

EXEMPTIONS TO WEARING UNIFORMS. The following officers are exempted from wearing the prescribed uniforms - N/A

Accessories

BASEBALL CAP. May optionally be worn with Polos or Class B/C uniforms. It shall be olive green in colour and display appropriate department Logo.

BODYCAM. May optionally be worn by Guards; the Coil Body 3 is to be used.

BEANIE. May optionally be worn during inclement weather. The beanie shall be black in colour.

BELT. Black leather belt, with silver buckle.

Note: G6 Peds may wear the Nylon Belt

CAP (HAT). Guards, while on-duty, shall ensure that their uniform hat is serviceable and available either at their closest station or in their patrol vehicle.

Note: Only when requested or patrolling in a bank.

EXTERNAL ARMOUR. Guards shall not patrol while wearing external armour. During situations where extra protection is needed, guards may put on external armour. Shall be black in colour, and must display "SECURITY" and "GRUPPESECHS"

Note: Supervisors shall use the version displaying "SUPERVISOR" and "GRUPPESECHS"

EARPIECE. Guards may also choose to wear Earpieces on patrol. 

GLOVES. Black leather or knitted gloves may be worn for inclement weather. Nitrile gloves may be worn when providing first aid.

HELMETS. Guards may wear helmets during riots situations. Ballistic helmets and riot helmets shall be black colour and display appropriate department logo.

HOLSTER. Unless specified, all officers shall wear their black holster on their belt. 

JACKETS. Guards may choose to wear a department-issued jacket during inclement weather, or during cold periods of time.

SHOULDER / CHEST MIC. Guards may choose to wear a shoulder or chest mic for their radio.

SWEATER. Guards may optionally wear a woolen sweater. It shall be brown in color and bear a golden security facsimile on it. 

Note: Armored Division Guards shall wear a black sweater with white coloured security facsimile on it.

TASER. If an guard chooses to utilise a taser, they shall use a black taser.

Dropleg Holster: Guards may use the dropleg taser holster. This may be used with any uniform.

Patrol Uniform Types

Class A / D Uniform

Shall be worn by any guard attending a formal event.

May be worn by guard conducting field activities.


SHIRT. White/Brown long or short sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.

PANTS. Olive Green duty pants.

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

Class B / C Uniform

May be worn by security officers conducting field activities.


SHIRT. White/Brown long or short sleeve shirt, with open collar. 

PANTS. Olive Green duty pants.

Note: During particularly warm weather around beach areas, guard may choose to wear shorts in an appropriate color. 

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

Maintenance Crew Uniform

May be worn by any one conducting installation services.


Uniform: Shall wear business casual type clothing, NOT THE G6 UNIFORM

Note: Business casual is defined as Polo, Chinos & Jeans

Armored Division Uniform Types

Armored Division Class A / D Uniform

Shall be worn by any guard attending a formal event.

May be worn by supervisors conducting field activities.


BELT. Guards shall wear the Nylon Belt with the Plastic buckle and the Security ID on it.

SHIRT. Green long sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.

Note: White Long Sleeve shirt shall be used by Armored Division Sergeant and above.

PANTS. Black duty pants with thin green line on it.

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.


Armored Division Class B / C Uniform

May be worn by security officers conducting field activities.


BELT. Guards shall wear the Nylon Belt with the Plastic buckle and the Security ID on it.

SHIRT. Green long or short sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.

Note: White long or short sleeve shirt shall be used by Armored Division Sergeant and above.

PANTS. Black duty pants with thin green line on it.

FOOTWEAR. Black boots.

EXTERNAL ARMOUR. Shall be black in colour, and must display "SECURITY" and "GRUPPESECHS" on it.

HELMET. Shall be black in colour, optional it can have a plastic protective visor on it. 

Note: White in colour helmets my be worn by supervisors.

Riot Gear

On-duty personnel must obtain permission from a duty supervisor to be authorized to use their riot uniform


BELT. Guards shall wear the Nylon Belt with the Plastic buckle and the Security ID on it.

SHIRT. Green long sleeve shirt.

PANTS. Black BDU styled pants with extra foot protection

FOOTWEAR. Black boots

EXTERNAL ARMOUR. Shall be black in colour, and must display "SECURITY" and "GRUPPESECHS" on it.

Note: Supervisors shall use the version displaying "SUPERVISOR" and "GRUPPESECHS" on it.

HELMET. Shall be black colour and may display appropriate department logo.

HOLSTER. Security officers wearing the Riot uniform shall wear the drop-leg holster.
