Mandatory Identification
Badge Placement: All uniformed employees are strictly required to display their Gold Facsimile Badge on their outermost garment at all times.
Visibility: Identification must remain unobstructed to ensure public accountability and professional transparency. Failure to display the badge while on duty is a policy violation.
Uniform Compliance
General Requirement: Every employee, regardless of rank or seniority, is mandated to wear the prescribed department uniform and carry all required personal equipment during their assigned tour of duty.
Full Kit Standards: A "Complete Uniform" includes all primary garments, duty belts, and identification markers as specified in the agency’s equipment manifest.
Exemptions: Currently, there are no authorized exemptions to the uniform policy (N/A).
Baseball Cap: Optional for Class B/C uniforms. Must be Navy Blue with the official Bobcat Security Logo.
Patrol Beanie: Authorized for inclement weather only. Must be Black.
Earpiece / Communication: Personnel are authorized to wear earpieces or shoulder/chest-mounted microphones for radio communication.
Duty Belt: Personnel shall wear a Black duty belt.
Holster: Standard-issue black holsters must be worn on the duty belt at all times unless otherwise specified.
Taser: If a guard chooses to utilize a taser, they shall use the Yellow & Black variant.
Body Camera: The Coil Body 2 or 3 are the authorized recording devices for field duty.
External Body Armor: Prohibited for routine patrol. Guards may only equip external armor during high-threat situations where extra protection is required.
Requirement: Must be Black and display "SECURITY" identifiers.
External Carrier Vest (Stab Vest): May choose to wear external carrier vests with Class B / C Uniform. Shall be grey/blue with the Department Logo
Helmets: Authorized for CIT (Cash In Transit) transports only.
Standard: Must be Dark Blue (optional plastic visor).
Gloves: Black leather or knitted gloves are authorized for cold weather. Nitrile gloves are mandatory when administering First Aid.
Patrol Sweater: Optional Navy Blue woolen sweater. Must bear a facsimile Gold Security Badge with "Security" written on it.
Note: Armored Division guards shall use the version without "Security" written on it.
Maintenance Crew: Personnel conducting installation services shall wear Civilian/Business Casual (Polo, Chinos, Jeans). The Bobcat Security uniform is prohibited for maintenance tasks.
Usage: Mandatory for any guard attending a formal event. Authorized for Supervisors conducting field activities.
Shirt: Grey/Blue long-sleeve shirt. Must be worn with a tie.
Pants: Navy Blue duty pants with a Yellow line.
Field Operations: Standard duty or Cargo pants are authorized.
Formal Events: Standard duty pants are mandatory.
Footwear: Black boots.
Usage: Authorized for security officers conducting standard field activities.
Shirt: Grey/Blue long or short-sleeve shirt.
Pants: Navy Blue duty pants with a Yellow line.
Footwear: Black boots.
Usage: Mandatory for any personnel conducting installation services.
Requirement: Personnel shall wear Business Casual clothing. Do not wear the BOBCAT uniform.
Definition: Business casual is defined as a Polo shirt, Chinos, or Jeans.
Usage: Mandatory for any Armored Division guard attending a formal event.
Shirt: Navy Blue long-sleeve shirt. Must be worn with a tie.
Pants: Navy Blue duty pants with a Yellow line.
Formal Events: Standard duty pants are mandatory.
Belt: Nylon Belt with Plastic buckle and Security ID.
Footwear: Black boots.
Usage: Authorized for Armored Division guards conducting field activities.
Shirt: Navy Blue long or short-sleeve shirt.
Pants: Navy Blue duty pants with a Yellow line.
External Armor: Mandatory Black vest displaying "SECURITY."
Helmet: Black (Optional plastic visor). White for Supervisors.
Footwear: Black boots.
