On-Duty, Uniformed Employees. Uniformed employees shall wear their official Department-issued badge on the outermost garment of their uniform. However officers in a Department-approved utility uniforms shall wear a facsimile badge.
WHO SHALL WEAR UNIFORM. All employees regardless of rank shall wear the prescribed uniform and personal equipment during their tours of duty.
BASEBALL CAP. May optionally be worn with Class B/C uniforms. May be worn by security officer while wearing Utility Uniform. It shall be green in color and display either "LOS SANTOS COUNTY SHERIFFS" in gold text, or appropriate department insignia.
BEANIE. May optionally be worn during inclement weather. The beanie shall be black in colour.
BELT. Black Basket Weave belt, with gold buckle and gold pouch buttons.
GLOVES. Black leather or knitted gloves may be worn for inclement weather. Nitrile gloves may be worn when providing first aid, or collecting evidence.
JACKETS. Security officer may choose to wear a department-issued jacket during inclement weather, or during cold periods of time.
SHOULDER / CHEST MIC. Officer may choose to wear a shoulder or chest mic for their radio.
Shall be worn by any security officer attending a formal event.
May be worn by security officers conducting field activities.
SHIRT. Long sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.
PANTS. Standard duty pants, olive green in colour.
FOOTWEAR. Black boots.
